YaST Software Updater Dies

I'm running 10.1, having upgraded from 10.0 last week. Most of my
issues have been easily worked out. I went to watch a movie trailer
and realized I don't have mplayer.

I've been happily using YaST to install software, such as tux racer
and other important items, so I went there.

As soon as I click on a package (the little checkbox) the software
managememnt part of YaST closes. It simply exits with no apparent

Now, to start with, I've been getting the following message whenever I
go into yast. This didn't happen with 10.0:

The file /repodata/repomd.xml (ftp://packman.unixheads.com/suse/10.1)
is not digitally signed. This means that the origin and integrity of
the file cannot be verified. Using the file may put the integrity of
your system at risk. Use it anyway?

Just for kicks I went into YaST in  the  command line.     I still get
the message, but was able to select packages and install.   Running
the command 'tail /var/log/messages' gave me the following after the
gui version dies:
