Two new translation branches in SVN

Karl Ove Hufthammer
I’ve noticed that two new translation branches has appeared in SVN:

openSUSE-Leap-42_1-Branch/
plus-SLE12-SP1/

(See https://svn.opensuse.org/svn/opensuse-i18n/branches/ for a list of
branches.)

The Leap one only contains the ‘packages’ translation files (dvd1.pot,
dvd2.pot dvd3.pot &c.), while the plus-SLE12-SP1 one contains all lcn
and yast translation files.

Does anybody know what these are for, and if we should (or even are
allowed) to translate them?

I don't know. Maybe it is work in progress by someone. I don't know
how to access the SVN log from the web, to see who created it.

I thought about doing it myself, but not knowing how to populate with
the correct .pots, it was useless. And if everything is going to be
migrated to weblate, then it is totally pointless.

I think *Leap* is coolo's branch ;)

I created plus-SLE12-SP1 for packaging requirements.  Do not translate
anthing there, it will get overridden; it's the result of

cp trunk     plus-SLE12-SP1
cp SLE12-SP1 plus-SLE12-SP1

That's the easiest way to use SLE 12 SP1 translations (ar cs de es fr hu
it ja ko nl pl pt_BR ru sv zh_CN zh_TW) in Leap.  Please, do not change
files in SLE12-SP1.
