TW ppc64 repo seems inconsistent

Normand
I tried to zypper up a ppc64 guest that failed as missing openSUSE-release-20160828-1.1.ppc64.rpm (1)
looking at url the repo seems to contain a more recent    openSUSE-release-20160829-1.2.ppc64.rpm (2)

Could we have inconsistent repo data in TW ppc64 repo ?

I think that can happen if a mirror is lagging behind.

Andreas.

openSUSE Tumbleweed PPC64 tested

Christian Zigotzky-2
Hi All,

I successfully installed openSUSE Tumbleweed PPC64 on my AmigaONE X1000
(Nemo board with P.A. Semi CPU).

I created an image of this installation:
http://www.xenosoft.de/openSUSE_Tumbleweed_20160516_ppc64.img.tar.gz

BTW, I installed S.u.S.E Linux 4.2 in a virtual QEMU machine on openSUSE
Tumbleweed PPC64. I had some problems with XFree86 but I was able to
solve these.

Screenshot of openSUSE Tumbleweed PPC64 kernel 4.8-rc4 from 2016 and
S.u.S.E. Linux 4.2 i686 kernel 1.99.4 from 1996:

Many thanks for the PPC64 version! :-)

Cheers,

Christian

I do not know if my problem was related to a mirror lag or not
but if I do a force+build zypper refresh in my guest
then the zypper search is reporting expected repo data.
So no more problem :)
