Build mysql failed in aarch64

zhangjian
Hi, guys

This is Bamvor Jian Zhang from huawei OS team. I am trying to build mysql in aarch64. But It is failed because of compiler internal error[1]. Marcus want me to provide the smallest code about this compiler internal error. But the rror become random When I try to simplify the code(The original code failed every times).

Meanwhile, I got libitm confilict when I try to build mysql through gcc49. It seems that libitm should be share with different compiler versions. It is why spec file put the libitm to a common directory, isn't it?

So, I stuck here. Is here some suggestion about build mysql aarch64? Thanks.

Bamvor

Have you managed to just extract the preprocessed c++ source and check
whether that still fails building? It doesn't have to be stripped down,
as long as the problem still shows.

There is a fix for this proposed upstream:

https://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2014-09/msg02209.html

we just need to include it in our package. Perhaps the gcc maintainers can help on this.

Dirk

Thanks your reply. It seems that Marcus is on vacation. Maybe I could test it in my branch.

Sure, please let us know if it indeed fixes the problem!
